From the research we have done, there is no doubt in our minds that Total Collections is one of the most powerful and flexible collections programs for a desktop computer available. If that was not enough, we have also made it easy to use.
The collections business being what it is, Total Collections is a continually evolving program. Many of the its features have come about through suggestions or requests of users, so please do not be bashful about any ideas or comments you have.
Our belief is that, if used properly, the Total Collections program should be able to significantly increase your annual net collection income. (Of course, a lot depends on just how good your present system is!)
The Total Collections program is not the only element in the loop. Several other factors will make important contributions to the overall rate of collections, like:
1- the professionalism of your collections department personnelAs mentioned above, one of the major benefits of the Total Collections program is its ease of use. It has been carefully designed to be able to be operated by a person who has only nominal computer experience. That is also one of the reasons that the Macintosh computer was selected.
2- the accuracy of the data entered into the Total Collections program
3- the quality of the letters sent to debtors
4- how intelligently the power of the Total Collections program is utilized
5- whether interest is charged on delinquent accounts (it should be!)
6- how quickly and inexpensively judgments are obtained (Hint: get judgments in a lower level court)
7- the follow through on income-executions after these judgments.
1) high school level English,The writing of any sophisticated software program, like Total Collections, is a very complex job. Many times there were conflicting choices that we had to resolve. We would like to share with you our priorities, so that you can hopefully appreciate why certain decisions were made. In order of importance, our design objectives were:
2) the ability to think logically, and
3) a few simple programming rules.
1 - Power (maximum features)Even though the Total Collections program is designed to do a superior job - and is user adjustable besides - we are available for additional consulting regarding: 1) modifications of Total Collections, 2) general collection questions, or 3) almost any Macintosh matters.
2 - Ease of Use (having a simple interface with the operator)
3 - Performance (processing speed)
4 - File Size (how much space the program would take up on a disk)
