 In the Fall of 1998, we are going to design our own exhibit in the Trilogy Room using materials from the archives. This Museum's archives has a lot of artifacts of J. Henry Rushton (a canoe builder who had his factory here in Canton), toys, tools and the Civil War. AND now we are even thinking about an exhibit about weather and catastrophes in our county because of our recent Ice Storm. |
Ice Storm '98 brought many changes to Northern New York. With the storm came power outages and no heat in January. Many people got together to help people who were worse off than them. It taught us it's times like these that people are really helpful and cooperative and everybody pitches in.
