When you first enter the message board, you will see a page listing all of the messages that have been posted to the message board. To view one of the messages, simply click on it. A detailed listing of that particular message will be displayed.
To post a message, click on [Post New Message]. Enter your name, optional e-mail address, the subject of the message, and finally the message itself as indicated.
When you are done typing your message, click on the Post Message button. This will return you to the message board and post your new message to it.
To reply to a message already on the message board, view the message as described above. Then, click on [Post a Reply]. This brings you to the Post a Message page. Notice that the name of the author of the original post and the subject are already filled in. Change Name to your name. The text of the original message is preceded with >>>. This is useful for distinguishing the original message from the reply.
When you are done replying to the original message, click the Post Message button. This will return you to the message board and post your reply. (Note: Your reply will be indented and placed underneath the original message.)
To delete messages from the message board, click on [Administration] at the bottom of the message board. This puts the message board into Administration mode.
Find the message that you wish to delete and click on the [Delete] link on the left hand side of the message.
Be careful, as this will permanently remove the message from the message board!
To leave administration mode, click on the [Return to Message Board] link on the bottom of the administration page. This will return you back to the message board.
When you are finished using the message board and wish to return to the Pratt-Northam home page, click on the Pratt-Northam Home link in the upper left corner of the message board. (The one with the picture of a house on it.)
Alternatively you can simply exit your web-browser.
