Helpful Hints
Using Email to communicate and forward
assignments
When using email for doing assignments, there are some hints that
you should take note of that will make your life a little easier.
- Make sure that all headings are complete. Use correct
addresses to send mail. All mail, including papers, questions,
etc. should be sent to bobb9199@splava.cc.plattsburgh.edu.
If it needs to be attended to by someone else, it will be
forwarded to the correct person.
- Always fill in the subject line. It should begin with
"capitalist" and be followed with whatever else it pertains
to. Examples would be: Capitalist: paper, capitalist: discussion,
capitalist: question.
- ALWAYS cc what you are sending to yourself so that you have a
copy. Mail does get lost in cyberspace! Systems crash and there
are a multitude of reasons for messages not getting delivered.
- If you do not know how, learn to type your papers in a word
processor, and upload to your mail account for processing.

The following is reproduced from the Anthro-l mailing list. These
guidelines should be followed when using material from the Internet
in your papers.
