On October 17 the Boo Bash & Dash started off at Dewey Mountain in Saranac Lake.

The Beginners raced on a 2.6 mile cross country course. The experts and Sports will be on the same course, but with an additional two tenths of a mile technical section..

Beginners raced two lap, Sports will race four and the Experts will race six laps.

The Big Tupper Ski Area downhill course is approximately 1.7 miles long -- depending on weather conditions.

The Chamber is proud to announce the main sponsors of the race are: World Cup Ski, Board & Bike, High Peaks Cyclery, Stewart's Shops and Tupper Lake Coca Cola Bottling Company, Inc.

In addition, providing services: World Cup Ski, Board & Bike, Fact & Fiction Book Store, and McDonnell's Adirondack Challenges will be providing prizes for the race. Team ROAR has allowed the Chamber to use its club number in applying for a National Off-Road Bicycle Association permit.

This is a race that will test competitors and teams against each other, as well the Adirondack elements.
