Wear On Earth carries top brands of equipment and clothing to fill your
backpacking needs. Packs from The North Face and Lowe Alpine range from
fanny packs and day packs thru to full size expedition packs.
We really like the Moonstone Bags with the 25 degree liners in Polarguard 3D or
down, to make a very versatile system bag. Needless to say, we also carry
The North Face and Sierra Designs sleeping bags. Bivies by Moonstone and
OR are normally in stock year round.
The full line of MSR products is a must in any first rate outdoor store -
their stoves, cooksets, and water filters in our opinion are unparalled.
Wear on Earth also carries the Pur Hiker water filter, Trangia and Outback
cookware. You can also find Swiss Army knives, compasses, sunglasses,
watches and just about any other accessories needed to fill your
backpacking needs. Oh yeah. Don't forget your Therma-Rest groundpad or
your Crazy Creek chair on your next trip - "Standard Equipment!!"
Two years ago, our climbing department consisted of a couple of harnesses and a few carabiners. Since that time, it has grown to represent a significant part of our business. Our major suppliers are Black Diamond, Climb High, and Blue Water. Other suppliers are Trango, Charlie Mosier, PMI and Petzl Climbing and Rescue gear.
Wear on Earth prides itself by helping beginners get good quality equipment at very competitive prices. Whether rock or ice, we can set you up with what you need -- carabiners for under $5; 10.6 ml ropes for $99; harnesses for $29; rock shoes for $99.

Whether you see yourself floating on a quiet Adirondack pond, or white knuckling your line down Lava Falls on the Colorado River in a squirt boat, Wear On Earth has the perfect boat for you (probably in stock!).
Canoes by Old Town, Dagger and We-no-nah are our favorites. Plastic canoes as light as 28 lbs and costing under $500 will get you into that lost pond. Fiberglass and plastic boats for all uses from fishing, to tripping and recreational class races will always be in stock at Wear On Earth. If you are looking for that one perfect boat: the one that is tough like Kevlar, light as Kevlar, look no further. Wear On Earth can recommend the We-no-nah canoe that you can paddle for the rest of your life. We carry about 60 canoes in our year around inventory.

As with canoes, Wear On Earth handles only the best line of kayaks. Perception/Aquaterra, Dagger, and Necky are our mainstays. We also carry Prijon, New Wave, and Current Designs.
Kayaks for beginers start at $299. We carry many models for $700 and less. The Dagger touring boats such as the Edisto, Seeker, and Magellan are our best selling models. They range from $700 to $1100. These boats are suited for small Adirondack lakes, slow moving rivers, as well as large lakes, the Seaway, and ocean touring. The Dagger Sitka is our flagship. At $2300 in the fiberglass makeup, and a propietary rudder design, this boat is sweet.
In whitewater kayaks, we stock what is hot - RPMs, Outbursts, Animas, Blasts, Piedras, Gradients, Vertigos, 3Ds and the popular Necky Rips and Jives. We also have Sparcs and Arcs in stock -- If we don't have it, we can probably get it. New and used boats are available.
Full lines of accessories are available - We stock the best line of paddles, PFDs, helmets etc.etc. etc. Wear On Earth also stocks Yakima roof racks and accessories.
