NEW FLAT-RATE PRICING - Beginning May 1, 2000 NorthNet is going
to flat-rate pricing of $14.95 per month with no extra charge for hours
above a certain limit.

THE WINNER IS........ - The winner of NorthNet's Three Free
Months Contest for the month of April was Sara Bonnell of Norwood.
Again, this contest is a way for NorthNet to give a little
something back to its loyal customers. All residential customers are
eligible for the random monthly drawing. Good luck to you all!
HELP US WITH A NEW NAME - As most of you are probably aware, on
NorthNet's homepage we have a "System Updates" icon. This is the site
where we post any new and pertinent information which is helpful to
our customers.
We feel, however, that the term "System Updates" doesn't truly
reflect the information we are trying to get across here. That's where
you come in. We are running a contest throughout the month of May in
which we would like you, our customers, to come up with a new name for
this icon. We would like the concept to reflect the fact that this spot
is a location where we post current and important information that
we want to get out to you.
The winning entry will be selected on May 31, 2000 and will receive
one free month of NorthNet service.
Contest rules: only one entry per user; you must be a residential
customer; entries must be submitted by 8 a.m. on May 31, 2000. All
entries should be submitted to pouimet@northnet.org

NOTE: For these numbers to be a local call for you, the
town you're dialing into must normally be local for you, and Bell
Atlantic must be your local carrier. If you are served by any other
phone company for local services, you will be billed long distance.
As you can see, NorthNet has extended it's service beyond
the North Country boundaries. As some of our customers move to
other parts of the state, we wanted to try and accommodate them by
expanding our services.
If you are experiencing busy signals where you reside, please
let us know. We count on you, our customers, to let us know when you're
facing a connection problem. By letting us know about busy signals, we
are able to purchase more lines to alleviate this issue.
STUDENT RATES - We would like to remind all college students who
are NorthNet customers that if you would like to continue with our service
over the summer, you must let us know.
The student summer rate is $12.00 per month, paid in advance. The
summer schedule is from June 1 to August 31, 2000. The semesterly
rate runs from September 1 to December 31, at a cost of $47.00. And
the academic rate runs from September 1 to May 31, at a cost of $95.00.

BUSINESS EXPO - If any of you are planning on attending the
Plattsburgh Business Expo on May 18, please be sure and stop by our
booth and say hello.
The Expo is being held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the SUNY
Plattsburgh Field House.
